Features
1) Impedance matching device which converts a 100 Ohm
twisted pair to a coaxial 93 Ohm signal.
2) Have the same function as Coaxial Balun.
Applications:
The cable balun is used to operate IBM 3270 devices over 100
ohm cable, rather than coaxial cable. It provides an impedance match from
100 ohm balanced cable to 93 ohm unbalanced cable.
